About this deal

You identify yourself in the book as a messenger, a reporter of information that you receive from clients. How has this information shaped your view of reality? I learned from this book, that there is so much I have yet to learn. What Newton presents most will not take as scientifically founded, or even verifiable fact. Which is why I keep looking for more books that seem to prove what he says about the lives of souls are true. I think my biggest proof that what he says has alot of logical valid basis is in day to day living. Just observing myself and others...and our behavior actions and patterns and the common themes that remain throughout an individuals life, yet vary across different individuals ...show me there is something more to it than random chance." One of those is this very thing we are talking about, the presence. What my subjects say is that this is as close to God as we get, and they view the presence as a collective. I find this very interesting. I ask them, “What is this to you? What are you talking about when you talk about this Higher Presence?” When they are at their council meetings, they see this powerful energy source, which seems to clarify everything that is going on with them.

Because sufferings and wrongs committed are a necessity to the operation of this ascention, could this be why judgement, accountability, punishment, are denounced?? We learn about cluster groups, the spiritual learning centre. the life books library, and much agout the colour spectrum of spiritual auras. The primary core colours indicate the stage of overall development, but "certain souls carry secondary colours .... called halo colours". Newton: It’s very important that we not be rigid in our approach to things, to always be open to change, that’s a very good point. One thing I can say is that with all the talk of what may happen at the end of 2012, the Shift or the ascension into the fourth or even fifth dimension, and all the uncertainty connected with this, this book had a very relaxing effect on me. Even if I don't make the ascension but my body dies at this time, there is absolutely no cause for worry - the spirit world is an extremely loving and comforting place to visit. You indicate that we have choices both here and in the spirit realm. Why is that something you emphasize? However, we are not evaluated after death by our religious associations, but rather by your conduct and values. I was reading Destiny of Souls by Dr. Michael Newton (the pioneer of past life regression hypnotherapy) and came across this interesting chapter on souls who commit suicide and what they learn upon leaving Earth and returning to the spirit world. It's not as horrible as most people are taught. Within Islam, souls await the day of resurrection in their graves. It is a limbo-like state: those destined for hell will suffer in their graves; those destined for heaven will wait peacefully.

Aside from my own spiritual beliefs (I was raised a Mormon and I'd say 90% of LDS theology dovetails nicely with Newton's revelations), what impressed me the most about Newton's research is the consistency of recall over hundreds of hypnosis subjects. While there are other explanations (Jung's "collective unconscious" comes to mind, as well as the "genetic memory" theory), Newton's discoveries seemed most likely to me. In the words of Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism and a true charismatic sage: "Truth tastes good." When I’m asked, “Well, then, apparently you don’t believe in hell,” that’s the truth. I don’t. There is no such thing in my mind. If there’s a hell, it’s Earth. When people cross over into the spirit world, regardless of the type of life they led, they are taken into a heavenly place. What happens to them there, depending upon what they have done on Earth, varies with each soul.We talked about super-conscious memories and the conscious mind. When a spirit crosses over into the spirit world after death, he may see his guides coming toward him with the great halo of light, especially around the head and shoulders. It is that upper part of their energy that it seems people focus on. One could look at the way angels are drawn in the religious sense and see that halo and wings. Perhaps that is a metaphor for what we actually see when we cross over. The follow-up to Journey of Souls. Much hard to read and comprehend than the first book. Not for the faint. " — Sonia, 1/27/2014 Within the Christian tradition, the idea that each individual was both mortal body and immortal soul distinguished humans from other creatures.

A great read about what happens when we die and move on to another life. Case studies from people who have been hynotised and there journey to the next life. Similarly, in Islam, the soul was breathed into the foetus by God. As in Christianity, opinions vary on when this occurred, but the mainstream opinion has it that the soul enters the foetus around 120 days after conception. Destiny of Souls is a book by Dr. Michael Newton (9 December 1931 – 22 September 2016), published in 2000. Newton was a hypnotherapist who developed his own age regression technique. After my last life, my group organized one hell of a party with music, wine, dancing, and singing. They arranged everything to look like a classical Roman festival with marble halls, togas, and all the exotic furnishings prevalent in our many lives together in the ancient world. Melissa (a primary soulmate) was waiting for me right up front, re-creating the age that I remember her best and looking as radiant as ever. I liked the book for the most part, I'm just confused about many things to do with "Heaven" now. I believe a lot of what he has written can be true and I found the people to be very interesting as well. I did find the writer to be a bit boring at times though.

Journey of Souls broke new ground, Destiny of Souls consolidated this emerging modality into something truly noteworthy in Afterlife exploration. This book goes deeper into some of the core philosophies and is significantly indexed to bring context and perspective to the themes Michael drew together. I have a dreaming question for you. In Destiny of Souls, you talk about how some souls who have left their bodies are able to meld and actually place themselves into the dreams of loved ones who may be grieving their loss. I’m curious if you think people who are adept at lucid dreaming now might be ones who are able to do advanced dreamwork in their life between lives?Newton: I do. It’s very interesting. Some clients are able to see that and they recognized it. Shirley MacLaine calls it the silver cord, the connection with our higher spiritual self. I think what’s interesting is that people who recognize that a part of them is anchored to a very, very spiritual place may not be able to articulate why they feel that way, but it’s because regardless of the life they are living, a part of them remains behind. The result, Destiny of Souls (Llewellyn, 2000), offers a detailed look at many aspects of soul life only hinted at in his first book on the subject. It explores how individual souls look in their infancy, how souls are healed after traumatic brushes with violence and evil on the earth plane, and much more on the group dynamics of souls in the realm of life between lives. Those of you who know me really well know that I have had some strange experiences in my life, and I have been working all of my 42 years to try to piece together how these all made sense. It's been like working a jigsaw puzzle without the big picture on the box to help me find the edges and the general shape of things. At this point in my life, I had assembled some of the big stuff, but this book was like seeing a good portion of the finished picture. What I had figured out on my own was confirmed by this book. The rest of the text offered explanations for lingering curiosity. The sacred truths of our etheric history can be recovered today because we are able to circumvent the conscious mind and reach the unconscious, which was not immersed in the River of Forgetfulness. Our higher Self remembers our past triumphs and transgressions in a selective way, whispering to us across time and space.”— Destiny of Souls A few facts helped me trust Newton's work. First of all he's not a half-baked floaty new-age hippie. He is old school. He hypnotised his first subject in 1947. He grew up an athiest...believed in no higher power, no God, no divine intelligence...nothing. While working with a client, he accidentally stumbled upon their memories of life in the spirit world. At first he was skeptical, but after more sessions with different clients he discovered that other people possess these memories as well. Overall, Newton has worked with more than 7,000 clients, and ALL of them report similar descriptions of life in the spirit world.
