This muzzle by Best Friend has a built-in breakaway headcollar with five adjustment points. It has a padded noseband and is totally synthetic, so resistant to rot and mildew. Watch your horse / pony for 10 minutes and in this time you should see the horse / pony moving and learning how to graze with the muzzle. SIZING (U.S. and Canada only): These muzzles are designed to fit much larger than traditional muzzles. If your horse is between sizes we recommend going with the larger size. Horse size typically fits horses with 5-6 inch bit. Pony: 4.25-4.75 inch bit. Mini: 3.5-4 inch bit. Below is an example chart of sizes.
