About this deal

It’s born out of deep passion for espresso and a sincere desire to make high-quality coffee available to everyone. I actually found the way that the steam works, to be quite handy even though it took a bit longer than I'm used to to get going.

Then, when you press the espresso button, the grinder will start grinding, and you can catch the grounds in the cup. The founder, Achilla Gaggia, patented the first steamless coffee maker in 1938 and founded the company a decade later. With the Brera (and all the other Gaggia machines) you can really easily trick the machine into thinking all is normal, by folding up a few bits of card. Few Grind Settings: Personally I don't think this matters with bean to cup machines, most people will never need to adjust this anyway.Despite now being owned by Philips, the company's models still retain the Italian charm and excellent espresso quality that made them so popular to begin with. With Gaggia machines you just toggle through each “bean” setting, and each one will deliver an approximate dose weight. You can re-program the volume of the buttons though, so you don’t have to leave the long coffee button set on a setting that you would consider too much from 11g.

The same is true of the long coffee button, pressing the button will give you whatever volume you've set it to, using the dose selected, and pressing it twice will give you double the volume using double the dose. The resistant 100% ceramic grinders extract the purest essence from coffee beans, preventing overheating and burning. For these reasons, it's one of our top-rated bean-to-cup coffee machines - and certainly one of the best in the Gaggia range. This is probably the reason bean to cup machines are so popular in some countries such as (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). If you have visual impairment, by the way, and you have anything you can share with me to help me to help others when it comes to choosing and using a coffee machine, please let me know in the comments, ta! As with the Brera review, I was at first (until I ran out) using Gaggia Arabica coffee beans, and as with the Brera, I was fairly happy with the taste of the espresso I got without any tweaking. While there are a number of Gaggia bean-to-cup coffee machines on the market, we've selected our top 3 and listed them below. You can find all compatible maintenance products below, under the section labeled "Related Products. If you want 3rd wave cappuccino and flat white, microfoam, then you can just slide the panarello off and use the steam pipe below as a steam wand.
