And so, there's this sour citrus note dominating the opening, which reminds me so much of YSL Pour Homme. Then, a musky powdery texture that could be the father of Burberry Touch: the idea of a ''masculine' powdery note, this time supported by patchouli. Galbanum and rosemary complete the stale, sour, almost savory citrus note. Although, from a bigger distance, most of the time, it's just powder and patch I also agree with the statement this being a more adult, vintage fragrance, not very suitable for younger men. I've heard it's scent changes drastically in hot weather however, so I'll revisit Blue Jeans once it's summer again and see if I change my mind. Despite this, I still enjoy having the bottle. Very neat design and for it's price I haven't really lost anything. I also think it's quite interesting to smell older, vintage fragrances. If you can't afford a 20 euro blind buy, I'd suggest sampling it at a store first, especially if you're a young person. Someone once said this smells like a citronella candle, alcohol and baby powder. As much as I like this one, I would say that it is somewhat spot on with how this smells. It still is in my gardrobe and i sprayed like 10 % out of it and that says enough for me (as a perfume addict), its an unusual floral sweet scent i dont like it but its very unique though.

Baby Blue Jeans is a much younger version of Blue Jeans, they have the same DNA IMO, Its not very masculine and may be used by girls for sure but its not for kids, It opens up very powdery where I actually get the iris and the musk much stronger than the citric part, but then that settles and becomes a citric powdery/floral white scent, In longevity I find it to be very good as pretty much every Versace scent, but yes it does smell synthethic, I don´t really feel the woody part on this one, or at least not till it is a skin scent. I have a visceral physical reaction to this fragrance. My heart is filled with lust and love for my handsome first love, and simultaneously filled with dread, jealousy, anxiety, lost dreams and a broken soul.This one was my first one at 1998. And you never forget your first one! Yes, it was reformulated, and under versus production, it wasn't the same as before. But now it's Versace again, and I can recall my good memories with the scent, it's smells now the same as it smelled in 1998. I don't feel it's dated! It's an unique scent, one of a kind. It has a great Coca Cola vibe at the opening and it's a bit gourmand, and it gives me a very cozy feeling. Longevity is superb easy 12+ hours on my skin. Projection and sillage are both fantastic.

This is my favorite from the Versace catalogue. This is a refreshing juice for summer. The initial spray is a soft lemon/lime. The scent dries down to a nice crisp, clean scent with a hint of vanilla. My only complaint is the weak silliage & I constantly re-apply to "freshen up". It is NOT an obnoxious scent & reminds me of a grown-up version of Nenuco, a cologne splash for babies my mother used on me in Spain. I'll be sad when I finish my bottle. My three favourite fragrances in my mid to late teens through to my early 20s were Versace Blue jeans, The Dreamer and D&G Pour Homme. I guess Italian fashion and fragrances and their culture were just really big in UK and Europe as a whole at that period of the mid 90s through to early 00s... An ideal option for everyday use, buy it in a portable 75ml size. Versace Blue Jeans also comes in a vintage-inspired bottle featuring denim blue glass, a fantastic fragrance for yourself or a gift.

Smells like a chemical when you first put it on, but it dry's down to a citrusy and garden rose mixture!! Unfortunately is extremely weak on my skin... last for 10 minutes and then it's just a skin scent for 2 hours top ;/ A fresh, citrusy fragrance with a soapy, powdery feel to it and complimented nicely with a base vanilla/tonka bean. I love smelling this all day.

Although tobacco is not listed here, there is a strong tobacco/ cigarette note. The rosemary is more camphorous than minty here, with a green, weedy, grassy quality. Please note that this is an agreeable camphor, not antiseptic or medicinal, but dry and bitter. The galbanum is bitter and green, more than balmy and resinous, although musky. The iris is powdery and earthy, and altogether the heart is tart, dry, powdery, earthy and green, helping to ground the big bold citrus. There is a moment when I get the image of a cigarette that has been crushed out in a plate of tart lemon curd, but this is mercifully short lived. Tried it while looking for perfumes as a gift for my bf. I don't remember what it smelled like, I just remember it being pleasant. In the end I found something I liked more so I didn't get it. Blue Jeans je zapravo prilično složena mešavina citrusa, cveća, začina, četinara i slatkih akorda i to je ono što ovaj miris čini tako posebnim. Maybe im mature now and more prefer subtle settle down, i don't like complex/mystery scent like i did when i was a teenager. Synthetic, powdery, has a candy sweetness in a way. I enjoy it, but I can see this being offensive for some people because of the sweet synthetic aspect. This is not a mass pleaser but still a great work of perfumery, I don't recommend blind buys on this, it is pretty special.As the heat and humidity build, I pulled out Baby Blue Jeans, applying early in the morning for a bracing jolt of bergamot, here in it's lemon personae. On me more lemon than lime, this is a fresh unisex fragrance that seems made for sweltering weather.
