Defiantly would recommend this to anyone on the go, for note taking and someone who does not want to take a large notebook with them. This product you can choose how much paper you carry. To me, the convenience of these notebooks outweighs every possible negative aspect. I'm constantly making lists, jotting notes down all day, taking notes for classes, etc. and to be able to just open a notebook and WRITE and then worry about organizing everything later is a big deal. I love being able to keep ONE notebook with me during the day, and then being able to go home and sort through the notes and put class notes in other notebooks and lists in a notebook devoted to that, etc. The majority of Campus Notebooks perform well with a variety of writing instruments. The paper is textured enough for graphite to grip the surface, yet smooth enough to use with gel pens. The notebooks are resistant to bleedthrough, too: they pair nicely with liquid links like those found in rollerball and fountain pens. All standard Campus notebooks use the same paper with slight differences in weight. Notebooks B5 and smaller use 70 gsm paper, while the A4 ones have 85 gsm paper. Kokuyo realized that large, thin sheets of paper are difficult to flip through, and increased the paper weight in the larger notebooks to make them easier to use.

Binder Notebooks - KOKUYO

These spiral/binders are pretty cool. I don't recommend these for people who are rough on school supplies - if you often destroy the cardboard covers and metal rings of cheap spirals from Staples, then this is not the product for you. The rings are kind of flimsy - but if you're gentle with your supplies they're fine. This year, I have sat next to a foreign exchange student from China who has many of these notebooks! The paticular notebook that he has, is the multi-subject one with sections in it.
